In September 1950, in the same place where we are situated and today, the Athenian Agora was founded by five locals citizens of Plomari. My great-grandfather Antonakas Nikolaos, my grandfather Evangelos Vamvadellis, Theofrastos Autousmis, Takis Chalaftis and Vassos Kountourellis are the co-founders. It was a modern general trade store, but it ended very soon, due to the flood of 1958, that completely destroyed it. After that my great-grandfather and his son-in-law (my grandfather) set up their own business at the same place. My grandfather and grandmother Kyriaki Vamvadelli-Antonaka worked together in the store until October 1986, when they were succeeded by my father, Georgios Stergos, and my mother, Stella Stergou-Vamvadelli. Together they expanded their commercial store, with respect to tradition and to the customers. They had the business until February 2014. Since then, the helm of the company was passed on to us, the fourth generation. We continue to offer high quality products at the best market prices, respecting our history and our customers who make us stand out all these years.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t
